BANDMAKER

The BANDMAKER program is designed to unleash the artistic potential of TAKE ONE students. Students form a band, in which they not only perform songs by other artists and bands, but also create their own songs and release them at the end of each season. In addition to rehearsals and individual lessons on their instruments, students choose a workshop to acquire and refine the skills they need to create, record, and release their own music.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

GROUP REHEARSAL

In rehearsal, we prepare the songs that will be performed in the end-of-season show. Each season features a new musical style (which the whole school works on), giving us a themed show from beginning to end.
Bands that have been together for more than 6 months are ready to begin the process of creating original songs, which will be composed by the band members.

It's very important to emphasize that bands are NOT ensembles, since each member has a fixed role. Being part of a band means being part of a musical project with real goals, a brotherhood of musicians who will grow with you and accompany you through one of the best chapters of your musical development, which can last for many years.

INDIVIDUAL CLASSES

All the songs you work on in your band rehearsals are refined and improved in your individual instrument lessons—even the original songs. Our teachers are trained to teach you all the techniques and give you the tools you need to progress quickly.

EACH CLASS LASTS 1 HOUR, time in which you can delve deeper into the theoretical and technical concepts behind each song and each style of music that we work on each season.

WORKSHOPS

The skills you need to grow in your creative areas. The options you can choose (one per season) are:

- Songwriting: You will learn to take advantage of collaborative work, where you will participate in the collective creation of songs.

- Session Recording: In this workshop we do not train music producers, but we teach you, from your own role as a musician, to understand all the recording and production processes for each instrument, while learning to work with a music producer.

- Practical Harmony: This is how you can expand your musical theoretical horizons, learning different scales, progressions, and structures that will improve your performance on the instrument.

-
Music Strategy: A combination of Music Business, Music Marketing, Music Distribution Channels, and Social Media for Musicians. Learn how to manage your project and what to do with the songs you've already released.

RELEASE SHOW

All TAKE ONE bands perform once every 6 months in a big seasonal show.
These shows also feature each band's original songs, and are launched live, with a real audience, in a real venue.

Music styles change each season, resulting in greater growth and a better live experience.

Our performances are ALWAYS held in a comfortable venue, close to the school, with good sound and service, so that both you and your fans can have the best experience.

Shows are temporary, but releases are forever.
